We are excited to welcome you all to our next Rise Up! Webinar on Food Systems and the Environment on Thursday, February 12th from 6:00-7:00 PM (PST).
Food systems have a significant impact on the environment, and as the global population grows, the pressure on these systems will only increase. Climate change poses major challenges, such as rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and resource depletion, which threaten food production and security. Join this conversation with Dr. Hannah Wittman to explore key environmental challenges within the current food system, and potential solutions.
We would also love to hear any questions you might have for our speaker, so feel free to include your questions when registering. You’re also welcome to ask questions during the Question and Answer period at the end of the session.Â
Lastly, just a reminder that webinars count towards your Rise Up! hours! Feel free to reach out to your Regional Lead if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you all there!Â
*Please note, this webinar is only open to current Rise Up! youth and organizations.*
